Many people assume that the dark roast coffee has the most caffeine! However, it’s in fact the opposite. Light roast coffee has more caffeine than the dark roast!
After doing more research, I found that even though the light roast technically has more caffeine, it depends on how the ground coffee is measured.
“If you measure your coffee by scoops, light roasted coffee will have more caffeine. However if you weigh out your scoops, darker roasts will have more caffeine, because there is less mass of dark roast.”—Kickinghorsecoffee.com (Follow them on Instagram)
